ITINERARY IN DETAIL
Set off from Hanoi along the southeast of Red River Delta to The 8th wonder of the world Halong bay which literally means “Descending dragon” by crossing through lush rice paddies, then Mao Khe and Uong Bi coal zones.
12h30: Embark at Tuan Chau International harbor.
Arrival at Tuan Chau port around noon to board the cruise ship. A subtle blend of traditional and contemporary decor, our boat was conceived and designed to meet the standards of beauty required of such an alluring location. The crew greets you on board with a welcome drink while the captain sets sail.
13h00: Enjoy lunch as the boat pass by famous islets of the bay.
After settling into your cabin, the activities of the day will be well introduced to you. Then, lunch, a succulent serving of seafood, served in our panoramic-view restaurant, is an indulgence to be savored. Not only sense of taste, but also that of sight is aroused by gazing upon the majestic karst landscapes through which we sail. The upper deck allows for a spectacular 360- degree view.
15h00: Cruise moving forward Ho Dong Tien Cave. Kayaking
Ho Dong Tien is a cave protected and conserved by the local management board and still be unprecedented. There is no electric light inside the cave, some areas have no light so we have to use flashlight instead. Especially, since this site is new wild, very few amount of tourists have known about it. We spend about 45 minutes at this authentic nature’s gift.
Then, about one hour remaining, we head towards Trong Cave which is an area for kayaking with much wider zone for paddling and the landscape is not hidden from view as in the Luon Cave’s area. Gliding along the bay in absolute quietude, one can more fully appreciate the myriad of limestone formations.
17h00: Relax time on the sundeck
We kayak back to our boat to pursue our voyage and drop anchor to the spot 587 Nha Lat. Under clear skies, the upper deck offers a vista onto the magical performance of the sun descending below the horizon of the violet sea, creating a whole palette of incandescent colors.
18.00Sunset party
Fresh fruits are served to recharge your energy before enjoying dinner.
19h00: Romantic dinner on the sun deck
Dinner will be a gastronomical experience of meticulously prepared seafood dishes.
20h00: Relax and contemplating Halong by night
Overnight on board.
06h30: Tai Chi Course
Welcoming the dawn with a session of Tai Chi on the upper deck.
07h00: Light Breakfast
With coffee & tea and assorted homemade pastries.
07h45: Heading to Titop Island
Enjoy free time for a plenty of interesting activities: swimming or climbing the mountain…
Return to the boat and continue your exploration to make it to Titop island, where we have the option to swim or climb to the island’s peak for a breathtaking panoramic view of the bay.
08h45: Return to the cruise & back to the harbor
09h30: Preparing for check out. Relax & enjoy peaceful panoramic view on sundeck
10h30: Enjoy lunch on board
11h15: Disembark and drive back to Hanoi.
After lunch, it is time to bid farewell to the crew and to prepare for disembarkation, reminding of your memorable trip in Halong Bay.
