Chimelong Safari is the home of 20,000 individuals belonging to 500 rare plant and animal species worldwide. This location is intended to be an ideal ecosystem full of wildness, with the goal of establishing the best living conditions, closest to the natural environment. Among them are giant salamanders, white tigers, pandas, and the world’s only surviving pair of panda triplets. Chengdu

The Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Base, which is only 10 kilometers (6 miles) from the city center, was created to replicate giant pandas’ natural habitat and provide them with the best possible environment for reproduction. 96 percent of the 560 mus (92 acres) of the facility is covered in green space, and it also provides care for other rare and endangered wildlife. In addition to white storks, black-necked cranes, giant and small pandas, and over 20 other rare species breed and feed there. Leshan Giant Buddha, which lies at the confluence of the three rivers Dan Giang, Thanh Y, and Dai Do, is well-known for the Buddha statue that is set right into the wall of The Loan, which is across from Mount Emei. According to legend, the statue was carved for almost a century with the intention of both requesting peace for humanity and assuaging the Water God’s wrath each time a boat rows across the river. With both hands resting on finely carved pillows, the 71-meter-tall statue has an elegant yet incredibly gentle demeanor. Wenshu Monastery has a history spanning over a millennium, making it the biggest Buddhist monastery in Chengdu as well as the most prominent of the four monasteries situated in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The 200,000 square meter monastery features a closed quadrilateral architecture with prayer halls, meditation halls, drum towers, and halls.

Given the significance of Buddhism during the Song Dynasty and its extensive 1,700-year history, Lingyin Temple stands as the most significant Buddhist temple in the Jiangan region. It has long been regarded as a top Buddhist destination because of its stunning stone carvings, cloud-capped mountains, ancient trees, ancient temples, and religious caves situated between and behind Beigao Peak and in front of Feilai Mountain. The first Zen Buddhist temple, Lingyin Temple, was constructed in 326 AD by Huili (慧理和尚), an Indian monk.

Known as the vibrant bronze pagoda in China, Leifeng Pagoda is situated atop Sunset Hill’s Leifeng peak on the southern edge of West Lake. The temple was originally constructed in 975 AD, collapsed in 1924, and was rebuilt in 2002. Ever since, it has grown in popularity as a tourist destination. Situated above the Wulingyuan neighborhood, Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge is a skywalk bridge. The bridge is the longest and highest glass-bottom bridge in the world. It is transparent and has a glass bottom. The bridge, which is 430 meters long by 6 meters wide and hangs about 300 meters above the ground, was made public in 2016. In the Hunan province of central China’s Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a bridge crosses a canyon between two cliffs. Designed to support up to 800 people concurrently, visitors must meet health requirements and experience the thrill of conquering the visually stunning glass bridge or daring bungee jumping.
